Ways To Give

Help a child:

  • Be heard, helped and healed
  • Be supported through the process regardless of whether charges are laid
  • Be less anxious, alone, and afraid to testify
  • Feel enabled and empowered to tell their story
  • Be hopeful about their future

There are many ways you can give…

  • Tribute Gifts – Celebrate or Honour Someone

A tribute gift is a wonderful way to celebrate a wedding, anniversary, birthday, teacher or honour the memorylove-romantic-date-candlelight of someone special.
You can donate online, mail in a cheque to the Child Witness Centre, 111 Duke Street East, Kitchener, N2H 1A4, or contact us at 519-744-0904.

  • 3rd Party Events – Host an Event

No event is too big or too small.  Turn your event into a fundraiser.  A 3rd party event is one in which someone (a group of people, a company, a service club) runs an event on our Third Partybehalf.  Hosting an event in support of the Child Witness Centre is a great way to help raise funds and also increase awareness. If you are interested in hosting a Third-Party event on our behalf or want to find out more on how you can help us, please contact Linda Mark, Resource Development Co-ordinator by email or phone (519) 744-0904.

  • Matching Funds – Ask your Employer

merch-icon-2xMany companies will match an employee’s donation or time spent volunteering with a financial gift. If your employer has a matching gift program, obtain the necessary forms from your employer. Matching gifts are initiated by the employee and are an easy way to double your donation.

  • Corporate Sponsorship – It’s a win/win

By sponsoring the Child Witness Centre through one of our programs or events, your company or organization helps children and youth in our community, while also increasing your visibility in the community.corporate image

We are looking for sponsors for our:

    • Annual Youth Symposium, help inspire more than 3,000 Grade Eight students each year.
    • Annual Pancake Lunch, an event attended by more than 400 individuals offering a wonderful networking opportunity.

If you are interested in sponsoring one of the above programs or want more information, please contact Linda Mark at 519-744-0904 or  linda.mark@childwitness.com. She will be happy to provide you with any additional information and answer any questions.

Include a bequest to the Child Witness Centre in your will or insurance, leaving a wonderful legacy gift.
