A Shrove Tuesday tradition for 20 years, our 2018 Pancake Lunch raised just over $28,000 in just a few short hours.
The event, held Tuesday, February 13th at Bingemans’ Marshall Hall, welcomed dignitaries, business owners, community champions and friends of the agency – totalling almost 600 guests. The funds raised will support our work, ensuring children and youth who are, or may become, victims or witnesses of abuse or crime will receive the support, education and advocacy needed as they journey through the criminal justice process.
We would also like to recognize Event Sponsors Septimatech Group Inc. and St. Jerome’s University – their support for the Child Witness Centre’s Pancake Lunch is deeply appreciated.
Thank you again for joining hands with us on Tuesday – the sense of hope and commitment to building a community where children and youth are safe, valued and heard was simply incredible. And we are grateful.
We are already beginning our plans for next year’s event – please circle Tuesday, March 5, 2019 on your calendar!
