Since 2008, the Leejay Levene Art Calendar has been created each year in memory of Leejay Levene, a beloved son, grandson, brother and friend who died tragically in 2007 while undergoing routine dental surgery. Each calendar is a celebration of Leejay’s extraordinary artistic talent with funds generated from sales supporting a local community group.
The Child Witness Centre is proud to have been chosen as the 2018 calendar partner, raising more than $20,000 – funds that Leejay would have been proud to know help children, youth and families to begin to heal.
