About Child Witness Centre
We are a registered charity that has been in existence since 1981, led by a Board of Directors with varied backgrounds and professional expertise. We provide support, education and advocacy to young people who are victims or witnesses of abuse or crime, and their families, in Waterloo Region and Guelph and Wellington County.
With only 20% of our overall funding from government sources, the balance needs to be raised in the community on an annual basis. The value of community, caring and compassion shines brightly when we partner together. A huge thanks to all our donors, funders, supporters and volunteers who support us throughout the year, opening your hearts and helping to make a difference in the lives of young people. We are so incredibly grateful and together, we are stronger!
