Whether on your own, or with a group of friends or colleagues, organizing a fundraiser for Child Witness Centre is a fun and effective way to support young victims in our community!

The young people we serve are often in need of items during the period of time we’re supporting them. This can range anywhere from 3 to 18 months or more, depending on the severity of their case. You can make meet a practical need through providing:

• Healthy snacks, drinks, and water.
• Bus passes.
• Fidget toys to help relieve stress.
• Toys and tennis balls for our facility dog, Monet.
• Journalling notebooks.

Donating auction items and prizes goes a long way towards supporting kids and families in our community! We use these to raise funds at events and occasionally show appreciation to our volunteers. Here are some examples of desired items:

• Gift cards for restaurants, grocery stores, and service providers.
• Barbecues, coffee makers, and other small household appliances.
• Gift baskets and housewares.
• Sporting goods and equipment.
• Tickets for entertainment (i.e.: museums, shows, sport events, etc.).
