Volunteer With Us

We are currently receiving applications to join our Fund Development Committee and Board of Directors. Please review the volunteer postings and apply if interested.

Volunteers with Child Witness Centre are valued members of our team – giving their time and talent to support the events, fundraising initiatives, and administrative needs that are essential for us to serve child victims and families.

We utilize volunteers in a variety of ways to support the mission of our organization. Some examples of opportunities are:

  • Providing administrative and office assistance
  • Building maintenance
  • Helping with special events including fundraising events and our Youth Symposium
  • Supporting our fundraising programs
  • Post-secondary placements to serve children and youth (coming soon)
Volunteer - June 2022

To apply to become a volunteer with the Child Witness Centre, please download our Volunteer Application Form and contact Ashley Backstrom, Special Projects Manager, at ashley.backstrom@childwitness.com.

In addition to the application, all volunteers are asked to submit a resume, two references, and a current Criminal Record Check. Note if you are applying to volunteer at the Youth Symposium, you will require a Vulnerable Sector Check.

Thank you for considering sharing your time, talents, and treasures with us!
