As a child, I experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating the judicial process as a victim and witness, which feels chaotic and unsafe. For many young victims, it’s a journey often filled with guilt, shame, anxiety, and isolation.

But that’s where Child Witness Centre comes in. Our team of professionals play a crucial role in providing the support that young victims and witnesses desperately need. We offer a safe space where children can express their feelings, learn coping strategies, and become empowered to begin healing. Young survivors and their families find a lifeline to reclaim their voices and start rebuilding their lives towards a brighter future.

Their trajectory dramatically improves from the likelihood of negative outcomes to positive ones. However, we are currently unable to keep up with demand and have over 70 young victims on our waitlist.
