It was wonderful celebrating 40 years of helping local young victims, and their families, on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. We welcomed over 160 attendees to our online event, including community leaders, partner organizations, financial supporters, volunteers, board members, and staff.

We are pleased to share that over $36,000 was raised towards helping the most vulnerable when they need it most. We are grateful for the amazing support of our sponsors, donors, and ticket purchasers! It is the generosity of people like you that enables our work with young people to continue.

Our Pancake Lunch included an exclusive interview between Chiefs of Police, Bryan Larkin and Gord Cobey, and our Executive Director, Kim Rodrigues! They discussed their passion to make our community a better place for everyone – and how we're partnering together to move this forward.

We were also excited to have local celebrity, ChefD, partner with us this year! Attendees could enjoy an interactive chat with him in his expo booth. As well, ChefD and Chief Larkin cooked up some gourmet pancakes while mixing in conversation about Child Witness Centre, in this video.

We’re already looking forward to our 2023 Pancake Lunch – the 25th annual edition! We hope you will partner with us for this milestone as well.

On behalf of our entire team… thank you so much for your support! You are making a positive lifelong impact in the lives of young people.
