2024 Tax Deadline Extended for Donations

You may have heard the Federal Government has extended the 2024 deadline for charitable donations due to the mail delivery service disruption in late 2024. This means if you donate by February 28, 2025, you can choose to claim that tax receipt on either your 2024 or 2025 income taxes. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity by giving a donation today. For our monthly donor heroes, if you would like an interim tax receipt generated for this reason (rather than waiting until year-end), please email admin@childwitness.com.

Your $200 Rebate Can Change Lives

In recent weeks, many Ontario residents have received a $200 tax rebate from the provincial government to help alleviate the higher cost of living. Did you know there’s an initiative inspiring recipients to donate this amount to charity? If you're able to give, would you consider donating some or all of your rebate to support local young victims? On average, it costs $50 for a child and their caregivers to have a session with our team. Every single one of those meetings can dramatically change a life, and set them on a positive trajectory.

Help the Most Vulnerable When Needed Most

We're striving to provide every young victim with the immediate support they deserve, by wiping out our waitlist. Thanks to your generosity, this list now sits at 45 kids, well down from its peak of 204 in 2023. Your generosity will help to remove this barrier entirely?
