Spring Appeal: Help Young People in These Difficult Times

With a lot happening in the world, it is easy to lose sight of those who urgently need our help – right here at home. While we dream of a community that is free from abuse and violence, the truth is young people need support now. This past year, we saw the demand for our services reach an all-time high – we supported over 1,700 children and youth in our trauma informed programs.

We’re committed to helping people like Landon, a past client and survivor of abuse committed by a former friend when she was in grade nine. Witnesses to crime like Sebastien, who found a bloodied victim in his hometown of Guelph, also benefit from our support through the court process.

Your generosity today can make a world of difference for local children and youth, and their families, who are often facing the most difficult time in their lives. That is why we’re running this “Spring Appeal” campaign. Our clients experience positive transformation in their mental health, emotional wellbeing, and resiliency to face tomorrow.

*Double your impact! Our Board of Directors believe so much in our work, that they are giving out of pocket to match donations up to $4,000. Bernadette Behm, Board Chair, shared "The support provided by our agency is vital for so many vulnerable young people, and their families! As our nonprofit relies on our community for a whopping 80% of our funding, we hope you will join us in giving generously at this critical time to transform lives."
