We hope you will join us on Monday, June 16, at 6:00 p.m. to learn about our wonderful impact in the community this past year! This hybrid meeting will take place in person at Bennett Grant LLP’s Kitchener office (55 King St W, 6th Floor, Kitchener) and virtually on Microsoft Teams.
Please RSVP by email to admin@childwitness.com, indicating whether you are planning to attend in person or online. Those who plan to attend virtually will be sent the meeting invitation.
In our 2024-25 fiscal year, we supported 1,088 children and youth, and 827 caregivers, in Waterloo Region, Guelph, and Wellington County. These young victims and their families found healing, wellbeing, and resiliency towards stronger futures. We were also extremely pleased to announce in March that we overcame our waitlist – but there's still much work to be done!
Without help, victimized children and youth are far more likely to have problems both now and later in life. This can include mental health issues, unhealthy relationships, substance abuse – and the list goes on. But the good news is our support throughout the criminal justice process can stop the cycle of pain and dramatically improve their trajectory for positive outcomes.
