What a great day! Saturday October 5 was a beautiful sunny day to walk or ride in support of the Child Witness Centre. We were very excited to have six teams and forty-three participants in our first year at the Ride for Refuge.
Thank you to everyone who participated - whether you rode, walked, or donated, together we raised over $11,000, surpassing our goal - what an amazing achievement! Now, at least eight young people who are victims or witnesses of abuse or crime and their families will be heard and have the support they need through the criminal justice process, fostering healing, hope, and wellbeing.
