On August 24, the first annual Widows Sons Grand River Chapter Charity Ride took place with 54 riders and 11 passengers embarking from Blackridge Harley-Davidson in Cambridge for a scenic motorcycle ride in support of the Child Witness Centre.
The day included a ride through the rolling hills and sights of Waterloo Region, a barbecue lunch, live music by Two Ball Cane, prizes, raffles and giveways.
Thanks to everyone who participated, the Widows Sons Grand River Chapter raised $3,000, ensuring that children and youth who are or may become victims or witnesses of abuse or crime have the support they require, fostering healing, hope and wellbeing.
